I have combined two of my current past, times SONY's PLAY STATION 2 Game console and my bemused observation of the declining standards of politics.
And so, HEGEMONY a new title from Apocalypse studios, coming soon to the Games console near you.
The aim of the game is to destroy your own civilisation as quickly as possible whilst get as many resources as quickly as possible.
You start with a small portfolio of Halliburton and various weapons manufacturer shares and a miniscule family fortune of a few million.
Just some of the characters you can choose.
DR.DICK - A shadowy spectral figure with a mechanical heart. Special abilities: Invisibility.
DUBBAYA BUSHWALKER - A heroic rancher who in his time off farming flies jets and runs a country... or... or a company or something. Special abilities: Disarming grin.
CONDEE VICE - A fiendish maneater whos uncanny ability to distort reality is only exceeded by her loyalty to whoever she believes can advice her career. Special abilities: Detecting change in the wind direction.
RUMMY - An enthusiastic CEO who has been flung into a seat of power by unkind winds of fate. Special ability: Creating his very own world in his own mind.
POW POW POWELL - An Ex-General turned suit. Special ability: Detect weapons of mass destruction. Even if there are not any.
